What this covers

The Lumina Solar partner platform: sales.luminasolar.com, partners.luminasolar.com, and the customer project pages served from them.

What we collect

If you are a sales rep or coordinator: your name, work email, phone number, team, an optional profile photo you upload, and your commission configuration.

If you are a customer: your name, email, phone number, home address, details of your solar project (system design, pricing, financing type), documents you sign, photos and files attached to your project (for example a utility bill), and appointment records.

We do not collect data from your device beyond what is needed to keep you signed in — a session cookie. There is no advertising, no analytics profile of you, and no tracking of you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Where it goes

Your data is held in Lumina Solar’s databases and handled by the service providers who run those systems on our behalf, and no others. Each is used only for the purpose listed and is contractually bound to protect your data:

• Our customer and project databases — the record of your project, its documents and its pricing
• An electronic signature service — so you can sign your contract
• Application hosting and file storage — running this site and holding uploaded files and photos (private storage, served only to the signed-in owner)
• An address lookup service — suggesting addresses as they are typed
• An email delivery service — sending password and notification emails
• Your financing provider, where your project is financed — progress milestones only

We do not sell your data, we do not share it with anyone for advertising, and we do not transfer it to anyone outside the purposes above.

If you would like the specific companies we use, or a copy of the data we hold about you, ask your project coordinator and we will provide it.

How it is protected

• Everything travels over HTTPS; the site enforces this for two years at a time (HSTS).
• Sign-in sessions are signed, HTTP-only, secure cookies with server-side expiry.
• Profile photos are stored privately and served only to their owner, signed in.
• Access to project data is scoped: reps see their own deals, coordinators their teams.

Deleting your account and data

In the app: open your Profile and use “Delete my account”. This immediately and permanently removes your login, your profile photo, your team memberships and any pending password links.

By request: email your project coordinator — they are named, with their email address, at the bottom of your project page — or reply to any email Lumina Solar has sent you, and ask for deletion. We act on these requests without charge.

What we keep, and why: records of your solar project itself — the deal, signed contracts, permits and installation records — are retained even after your account is deleted. A signed contract has to remain reproducible for warranty, safety and legal compliance for as long as those obligations run. This retention is limited to those business records; it does not include your login or photo.
